And still haven't gotten to do a 5k yet.always broke and they are never close to me. Can't travel too far and hubby would not be supportive. Need to walk and run more. Kinda lost that when I started doing challenges(they take up a lot of time) .training for one probably wouldn't be a bad idea either.and what is this fast you were talking about?wanna make sure my girl is taking good care.(I'm sure you are though)barely nailed it this week.205. Most of that was today and yesterday.have been down and out with flu all week.feelin much better now.except for dealing with pouty adults with attitudes.men.jeez.lol.

I know my fitness minutes will go down for the next month as I'm working on a 10-week 10k training program and I don't plan to over do it with 2-hour workout sessions.

In February, I'm doing the Daniel Fast to see if I can control some of my food urges.

I don't know but I am game for anything.let's pass around ideas. I also nailed it this week with 384. Have been trying to step it up. And yess christmas was good. Nothin like holiday guilt to make a man behave.lol.my momma finally got to see me. She hasn't seen me since I was at 50 pounds lost back in september(my total is 82 right now).she took pics too show the whole family. She was tickled. I hope I can motivate her to make 2014 healthier for her as well.

My weight has steadily decreased however sometimes it is 5 pounds a week sometimes it is only two and the worst is when it doesn't move at all. The only difference is my min and even then sometimesim killin it and not getting the 5 pounds I want. I guess I am spoiled like that.lol. I loose weight great,just gotta be dedicated and set my mind to it. Didnnt even mess up for thanksgiving and not gonna mess up christmas.

I nailed it this week, too, with 778 minutes.

Come the new year, I'm gonna work on my eating habits. I'm gonna attempt to be very structured on when and what I eat for January and see how this affects my weight loss.

Over the last few weeks, my weight has fluctuated up and down 4-6 pounds; however, I have lost inches from chest, waist, arms, and thighs.

Would like to see some weight loss with that, too!

I geqnerally eat 1200- 1500 calories a day.try to eat lots of veggies. No white stuff.all whole wheat.peanut butter has been my new best friend for sweet craving( pb&j on whole wheat) try to modify all stuff I eat to be lower fat and calories somehow without aeniating whole family.if I cook it. I plan on leftvers because my portiion of pastas and breads will not be eaten.lol. (ocasional spagetti and red beans even then I try to go for wheat or brown)

I think that's how I feel about planks. I'm doing a challenge now where I have to build up to a 90-second plank. Did a 60-second one yesterday that liked to kill me, but I'm determined to get to that 90-second one.

Yes the burpees and squats were probably what kept me afloat this week( although they probably weren't good for my knee). Although I am getting good at the burppee. I have pretty good form.

I nailed it hard for the week of 10/25: 631 minutes thanks to a 7+-mile day and a few 4-mile and 5-mile days. emoticon

Way to go, Meg77Ann! You know, I had the same thing happen to me this week. Was going through the closet looking for a pair of pants and put on a pair of jeans I haven't worn in forever because they were too tight. They fit awesomely today!

I Nailed it!!!!!!!!! 345 min for the week of 10/25. And found out I FINALLY fit in a pair of pants that have been hanging in my closet for 7 years.

The 5k I did yesterday was for breast cancer. The only real "fee" was a donation you could do for $15, and even with that, you got a really cool t-shirt, so that wasn't bad. Next month, I'm doing our Turkey Trot walk/run 5k, and I can't remember the fee of it, but it's less than $30, I think. Hoping to find others nearby that are relatively low in registration fee, too.

Mine isn't weight(I have lost a total of 50 so far). The numbers that vex me the most are my measurements.they crawl forward so slowly each month.and today was measureday and they didn't move at all last month.I lost 15 pounds and my clothes are about to fall off but those numbers didn't budge.had a moment I had to breath deep and tell myself I am still moving forward. Congrats on the 5k. I have always wanted to do one. My obstacle right now isn't me but the entrance fee and taking a day off.hoping to have all that cleared up by january. Then I am definatly gonna do one.

I was just kidding, Meg. LOL I weighed myself today to get it started. So far this month, I haven't seen a lot of changes in my weight despite the fact that I see (and feel) the difference in my body with how clothes are fitting and all that. I'm hoping the weight will catch up to that! :-D

Is not nesserary.I find it helpful but not everyone likes to do it that way and that's ok. For me it would add an extra sense of accomplishment at the end to have that number. If this will not help you is ok to skip.

Ok ladies and gents- we liked this one so much we called for a second show. Same as before except 200 fitness minutes per week this time. Please post "I nailed it" and the date every Friday by midnight. emoticon emoticon first posting is 10/25 and last posting is 11/29. Might also be helpful(but not nessacary) to get a starting weight so you can see how much you lost in six weeks. Good luck and look forward to seeing you each week.
