Create a PERMAMENT FILE binder for each student.
1.Keep a copy of your notification 'acceptance' containing your child's specific name, for each year.
2. Your signed assessment portfolio for each year.
3. Maybe your 'mother's report'- the summary of what your child did that year.
4. Also keep references from people they have worked for.

Later, when they are searching for all their 'important stuff' it can be found in one place.


This is separate from other keepsakes of the year, those go in their own binders or manila envelopes.

Place your magazine collection (that you just can't bare to be rid of) in an oversized 3 ring binder. If you magazines are thin enough they might fit in protector sheets.
I did this with Answers magazines and am going to do home schooling magazines next. It's so much nicer to find them in one place, not wandering around the house.
