How cool is this!?!
I'm gonna go play the new board game with my four year old, but first I might jump on the trampoline with her for a while. Or even better, make exercise a PART of the board game. I'm getting off soon to go do that.
Have fun with the little wuns! lol

And we all lived happily ever after...

I'm in however when we got married I weighted it at 98 lbs with my hair dripping wet at 17. We were married for 11 years before our first child was born. I weighted about 135 ish. Then I gained up to 172. Lost a TON of weight, went back down to 118 when I went to the doctor thinking something was wrong with me. I was expecting my boy. Gained to 163 ish. I've been here ever since well until last month. I'm at 156 now. I would love to get back to 130 ish and go from there to see what I feel like. I know what too thin is and how it feels. I know what too heavy is and how it feels. I want to look and feel GREAT!! Thats were I want to be.

Lets lose a kid or two or nine as the case may be. I'm in. I just read a book with my boy while I was riding my bike. To get me started losing a kid. LOL

"There's a difference between interest and commitment. When you're interested in doing something, you do it only when it's convenient. When you're COMMITTED to something, you accept NO EXCUSES; only results."

I tired of being sick and tired all the time!! Time to do something about it!!

And This Too Shall Pass.

LIFE is like an echo..........

That is exactly how I set my goals...pre Mark weight, etc. I have 6 kids myself and I have lost 5 of them already. Currently working on #6. I have lots of fun exercising with the kids, but I do have to limit there activity b/c they are all skinny as can be & they were exercising w/ me too much & losing weight too. Yikes!

We do have a lot of fun together doing all of this though.

How many of you have gained weight during your pregnancies? ......yeah.
When I met my husband, and I was 20, I weighed around 120. Three years later, I was 140ish. That was totally our fault because our dates WERE Taco Bell. And we didn't realize the calories and fat that were REALLY in that food, or weren't willing to ADMIT that it would make us gain so much.
By our 1st anniversary, I weighed about 160ish, and I'm sure some of that I can blame on the HATED BIRTH CONTROL PILL.
I got off that thing, and excitedly looked forward to babies (10 babies later I STILL look forward to babies, lol) Just 3 months later I became pregnant with #1. I probably weighed 167.
With each baby, I'd say I kept on about 5ish pounds. 9 kids times 5 is 45, so that about makes sense. (#10 was lost in miscarr.)
Anyway, I jokingly said that I'm trying to 'lose my kids' and that spurred me on with this idea.
WE OUGHTA TRY TO LOSE THE 5 POUNDS THAT WERE GAINED FOR THAT CHILD, while DOING something WITH that child. We oughta pick a project or a physical activity that we can pour our time into our kids. I think that's kind of a neat idea.
It could certainly set us up for some good laughs as our children will not want us to LOSE them. lol
Anyway, currently my Daughter #1, 15 yrs old and I have been doing workout video's together. If you've been following my blog, you may have read that I lost 5 pounds in one week, because I changed the time I take my Synthroid medicine. I have lost a few more since that Monday weigh in. I can't count it as a kid until I'm sure it's gonna stay off. lol. But, if it DOES stay off, I've already lost ONE child.
Have fun!
~Susan
