Yes, you did get a better more efficient workout walking across the parade field, as it was uneven ground and you had to use more of your muscles to balance yourself and stay upright.

There's no need for you to feel fat and stupid, and I rebuke in the name of Jesus what you called upon yourself. You're fine, and as long as you move 1 second more than the day before, it's as good as GOLD! Just keep MOVING!!!

Okay. Went out with the husband and daughter to walk around the parade field on the base. Got halfway around (used to be able to go all the way around). My chest area is so large that the pain down my arm and sides and back is unbearable sometimes. Plus having mild COPD. It makes me unhappy that I can't get where I wanted to be. But we decided to cut across the parade field back to the car. Shoot, walking on that grassy field really burned the muscles in my legs so I am guessing I got a better work out than I thought I was going to get. But I keep on trying to increase my minutes. 15 today.
I just feel so fat and stupid.

I certainly challenged myself and hopefully you did too!


Congratulations on Completing the #VionicWalkabout Challenge!
Yesterday was the last day of the 30-Day Walkabout Challenge!! Hopefully, you have learned some helpful tips along the way and feel like a stronger, more confident walker. You might also be experiencing a calmer mind thanks to all that daily physical activity. Keep it up! Your final challenge was to walk for 40 minutes yesterday. Whether you break it up into multiple sessions or tackle it all at once is up to you!

What will you do now that the Challenge is over? A great way to build on your current fitness level is to train to walk a 5k race! Happy walking!

Walk for the Hills
Have you been walking on a mostly flat surface? Time to up the ante! You will walk for 35 minutes again today, but with a twist! Find a route with a few challenging hills to climb. If you're walking on a treadmill, dial up the incline to a point where it would be difficult for you to carry on a conversation. Aim to do one minute of uphill walking, followed by two minutes of a slower pace and/or flatter incline for at least 15 of your 35 minutes. You've got this!

We couldn't walk the dogs around the lake today because they had it blocked off so we went to another place but it wasn't as long but it was nice.....only a 30 min. walk

Have you asked for tech support to give you a hand, because even I am at a loss as to what to tell you to do?

The main thing is that you're WALKING!!! Keep moving girl! You may not be losing weight, but you've gotten better in other areas. Check your stamina, how you feel in general, what about your clothes? Are you losing inches? Can you do things that you weren't able to do before, or even last for a longer time on something that you were doing before? If you answered YES to any of those questions, you're doing the right thing and you're headed in the right direction!
