I crease in weight to 206.4 headache despite following my med routine... Need to put a call into my local nuero I guess. My specialist says that Mayo hasn't contacted them with the results of my testing...

I failed to weigh in this week. The night before my weigh in I had a horrible nights sleep where I only slept for about 2 hours. Then the next day I started my cycle. I will be weighing in Tomorrow regardless of my cycle, but it isn't officially my weigh in day, just a mid week check to see how things are going. I am finally off limited activity. I just feel so tired... Probably from not being anywhere near as active as I was, not that even compares to my friends on here.

I hope everyone is doing well!

I thought it was interesting as well. The study had too limited of a participant group, but if it is true, then dieting could be "going about it all wrong" i noticed they were not advocating for an adkins diet to drop all fruits and veggies, but to remove/limit the ones that grow in the earth and limit high carbs like grains. It would be interesting if by following something similar, maybe not at 5800 cals, we lost weight, versus gaining weight. The loss of measurement in waist size despite weight gain was also curious to me. I have to wonder how easily this article could be replicated.

That was an interesting article.
Yesterday I signed up for my first 10k, which means I will need to get in all my training in order to accomplish this. I did 7K today, and did some garden work. I will be off here in a few to walk my neighbor's dog. Then I hope to get some cleaning done around the house. Lots to do as we will be going on vacation next week. Can't wait!

My week isn't going to bad. I'm not sure I'm loosing weight but I'm at least taking the steps to try not to gain any.

Weigh in day 205. I like that much more than the 210 at my day 1 of mayo testing... Now let's see where this month goes.

The tests say that I don't have intracranial hypertension. The doctor is not concerned about vascular issues in my head at this time. They did not leave me with any follow up appts, or any other answers. I guess i am still in recovery mode because I thought i was doing well today then 3 pm hit and i had to go take a nap. I hope this is not my new normal.

I need to log my food and water.

Mary, do you have any answers yet?

I'm trying to set weekly goals instead of monthy.

This week's are:
finish week 4 of bootcamp
100 oz of water daily
focuson form, not quanity

Welcome to July!

On my list of goals...

Weigh in, do a phone consult with the other nuerosurgeon (maybe get exercise recs from him?), count my water, log my food.... I am on limited physical activity for the next week and a half or until I feel like the wound on my groin is healed from the angiogram.
