i waited to eat till later nd ended up not making a great choice for lunch, but i fed a craving so maybe i will be in the mood for other foods.

at my aunt and uncle's we had homemade soup. so it was easy to not get stuffed. i did overeat a little but i shared my pie with my niece. she liked it, i did not drink a ton of water, but ididnt wat all day. i planned breakfast -100% juice with egg muffins

today was overeating day.. i did eat more items then normal , but i ate slowerv and enjoyed most bites of food. i did overeat at supper but i did stop before my plate was empty. i found myself thinking i still had room so i kept eating. when i started feeling uncomfortable. i realized i needed to stop right away.i hate wasting foodm but i will save it for later and use it for a snack if i am hungry. small steps but i am learning to not overeat.

other then occasional strange stomach aches,i am going really well. i dont have issues with feeling hungry., i eat pretty well during the day. too much pop is the biggest issue. and i tend to want to eat more at supper but i still do eat slow.

it is odd to me that i am not hungry even though i am eating slower and eating less. i tell myself that i can get more if hungry, just wait a couple minutes. i don't feel "full" like i did before, i start thinking about eating more, but wait a couple minutes. i know i can eat more, but i i am enjoying the sated feeling

this may sound odd but i have been using the bathroom differently since i started eating more mindfully. i normally use the bathroom at specific times, but now that i am eating smaller amounts i use the bathroom at odder times. it seems a bit weird, but it is nice to eat a light meal and feel satisfied instead of feeling so stuffed.

i was really hungry when i got home from work. i had some string cheese. then i cleaned a bit and for supper i had a bagel with cream cheese, i wasnt really hungry, i was more sleepy

doing well on this. i am eating smaller meals, feeling full enough. it still feels funny that i dont eat till i feel really full. but afterward i do feel more energetic and i dont have the upset stomache feeling. i am enjoying my food more.

i ran an errand before breakfast and i thought about grabbing a snack at the store. it is from a bad habit i am tryign to get rid if. i was not hungry and would be home in about 15 minutes. i already had a plan for what i would eat when i got home so i skipped getting anything. i came home and had my meal.
i craved some chocolate in the afternoon. i had 1 piece and i enjoyed it. then my craving was satisfied,

I had some successes. ate a bit to much earlier but i did stop before finishing. i saved 1/3 of my supper for a later snack

i had meetings so my break and lunch schedule was off today. then i came home, dand did my workout right away then ate some pizza rolls quickly. then i went to my meeting. we did have snacks served after 90 minutes. i shoveled. it was good and tasty. but i did eat too much to quickly. i have been doing badly at making better choices. i eat something when i crave it but i am getting carried away. this permission to eat when i want does not seem to work

i overate at lunch. we went for mexican and i shoveled chips as i could. then when i had my food i ate quick and then stopped with half the food on my plate and realized that i was full, not stuffed, but full enough. i asked for a go box and had the leftovers for supper

i was pretty good during the work day. i was sleepy and felt gassy. normally in the past, that would have been an excuse for me to get a pop or some sugary snack. i did not go to the vending area for anything. i had a fruit cup for a snack and that handled my sweet tooth in the morning. when it came back in the afternoon, i looked at my less sweet items and i realized iwasnt hungry so i was able to refocus my energy on getting work done,

came home and had the munchies. i took a nap and then had soup for supper with too many crackers. i feel stuffed and tired now. i did pretty well most of the day but i did not have the best plan for supper so that is part of how i ate too much.

i did better at saving m&m's for later. i didnt have much left in the snack back but i closed it and put it away unitll after lunch. i remembered thinking " i can eat it later, or if i forget, i can have some at home". it made me feel sated faster.

i have had the munchees a lot lately. i am craving "something" but i am not sure what i want to eat. so sometimes i just have agclass of milk or a square of chocolate. i am not mindlessly shoveling. in fact i am happy that i am eating less and enjoying it more.

i ate 1 of my dove chocolates today. and i enjoyed it and then realized i did not need the other one. Major victory hear. normally i eat all the chocolate i bring to work. i did go get gas at lunch and grabbed a sandwhich and chips. i normally dont deviate from the lunch i bring to work, but i was feeling antsy and just wanted to get out of the office so i did. i am crabbier and feel more tired. i am not trrying to medicate my sleepiness with sugar an caffine. i did have mountain dew

it is harder to stay focuesed when my brain is all over the place.

i did ok at work with my planned items.supper i at too much. iwas not stuffed, but i grabbed a larger salad bowl instead of the slightly smaller one so my portions were more. i have been craving ice cream like crazy lately. so i have been having a small bowl (less then 1 cup) the last couple nights. i enjoye\d my lunch. i missed walking outside but i wanted to just sit and eat in the breakroom instead of eating at my desk. i still have cravings. sometimes i am better at having smaller amounts still a lot of mental work to go

I wanted SO BADLY to binge today at lunch. I had that voice in my head telling me to eat fast and hurry and go get more food. I resisted. I was fine. It was a white knuckle battle, but I prevailed.

Trying to live as best as I can according to God's Plan including a Natural and Holistic Health lifestyle.

I am the Pumpkin Queen! And Watermelon Queen, and Tomato Queen, and Zinnia Queen, and Sunflower Queen, etc...

Victory Garden Obsessed!

The world would be a happier place if we all grew some pumpkins!

My goal is to not weight myself until Sunday. I weigh myself too much and let it dictate mood so I'm trying to work on that.

I am also just beginning to pay attention to hunger cues this week. I am trying to break out of the diet mentality so I am eating whatever I want. I usually have a very hard time limiting sugary foods. I made chocolate chip cookies for the first time in years to celebrate my new freedom. I brought them to the drive-in movies as a treat for the family. I had three while we were there (not too bad). I had three today in the afternoon too. The cool thing is that I didn't eat them all. My kids finished them off.

My goal for the next week is to be more aware of intuitive eating, to listen more to the signals from my body. And to try to eat nothing (but perhaps 2 pieces of fruit) after 8 pm at night.
