JUNE 23 DAY 3 Stop thinking I’m not ready.


Making healthy choices is always about now and I am ready and committed. I have been thinking positively and putting my walking shoes on every day for about a week. Everyday I am ready, some days work out better than others.

JUNE 21 DAY 1

“I’ll start tomorrow.” Or “It’s too late.”

I really only have today, right now, so starting here with one positive step which will help me continue tomorrow. And it is never too late to get healthy. I am going to eat extra salad today instead of having a potato.

JUNE 22 DAY 2

Stop berating myself for my food choice mistakes.

It doesn’t help if I get mad at myself for eating the cheesecake instead of the apple. Better to acknowledge that I wanted the cheesecake but right now I will chose something healthy. Yesterday I had piece of cake, a small piece and then I had extra vegetables at dinner and no potatoes. Today I ate extra vegetables.

The route to my destination is never a straight line. I may take a wrong turn and get off track sometimes. But it doesn’t always matter which road I end up on, I can make right turns, left turns and U-turns to get back on track. In the end, the only things standing between where I am and where I want to be is the will to keep trying and the belief that it is possible to get there.
