I want to make it thru the holidays with a healthy respect for my body and what I put in it. I want them to be about the families and the love with the food under control, and I am a little worried about it. Any thoughts for me? any good recipes--easy, festive, healthy??

My resolutions and exercises have been good, so I don't plan on adding anything else. My meals have not been too large or unhealthy either, I don't think, even when I work for 4 hours only and get a 15 min. break for them. I pack healthy stuff, or at least low in calories. Someone suggested once a week to splurge a bit to get out of the rut. Sundays is my day to splurge a bit, but Halloween I did, too.

I am going to try to be IN bed by 10:30pm. I've only been averaging 5 hours of sleep.

Pathetic little goals for me - I'm trying to set ones I WILL achieve, not having had much success in the past.

1. 10,000 steps a day
2. Take a proper walk (or other cardio) Sun, Mon, Weds, Fri, Sat
3. Strength training Tues, Thurs

Every day I am on the verge of making slight changes that would make all the difference in my life.

One day I won't be able to do this, but today is not that day

I plan to improve my exercise schedule in November..partly due to being part of a team at the gym...We are "running/walking/biking across Wisconsin...Contest we have going. I work there, so I can't win, but great incentive to get going again....teams of 3 have to travel 341.2 miles...first team done wins...Hoping it jump starts some more weight loss...Happy November...Don't forget to change clocks tonight! emoticon

We are so very rapidly approaching the end of the year. I know we are all getting busy preparing for Thanksgiving and Christmas, but we should not forget our exercise. This month I will continue to keep within my nutrition guidelines, and also get at least 30 minutes of exercise daily.
