I enjoyed Halloween as a child, and I still enjoy the wonderful decorations for Halloween.
I have to admit, that any Halloween treats in my home now days are much more nutritious than I had as a child.
Deviled eggs with black olive pieces arranged on top to make a spider shape. Half of an olive for the body, then small slivers of olive to make the legs.
Tomatoe soup with some watered down sour cream piped on top in circles then connected with a toothpick drawn through each circle to make a web.
I always make a themed evening meal for Halloween, it's just fun! :D
I only give out healthy treats like fruit leather, dark chocolate, or rice krispies treats. Thankfully I don't have many trick or treaters. Maybe 25 to 30 at the most.
They are always so adorable. The parents are good in my neighborhood, telling their children to just take one and say thank you Mrs.Quin :D
Such a fun afternoon for me and my hubby, and a good way to stay connected with our neighbors too. emoticon

I'm with ElisaDenk. I had to stop doing Halloween years ago but I'm happy to do an autumn theme.

And I am sooooo enjoying autumn this year, We didn't have a hot summer here, which was really great, and now autumn has finally happened and it's absolutely wonderful. I just wish we got fall colors here, I miss that about living in New England when I was young. Anyway, here's today's bit of Autumn

There was much rejoicing!
