Yup. Add a fat source. The gravy sounds great, but I always want this to be crispy. So I would serve whatever fat as a dipping sauce (just me, but I need crunchy sometimes!). My usual is spicy mayo - i get a mayo that is zero carbs per serving - and i either add sriracha or some Franks redhot to spicy it up. I also just made a homemade ranch that would be great with it.

thank you!! i was just sitting trying to figure. so fat elsewhere to balance it...i'm thinking a dipping sauce of garlic butter...or a gravy of cream cheese, the drippings, and heavy cream. YUM!!!

ohhh that looks REALLY good!! do you know the nutrition info? it doesnt list any. i think i could do this on the burner on my gas grill and save the house from the splatter...lol!!

We eat this at least every other week. Its a welcome break from heavy/cheesey meals. I like to have something crispy now and again. Even my kids eat them. To keep the macros in line I usually serve this with a mayo based dipping sauce, though it is amazing without. I typically serve with a veggie side like cheesy broccoli or sauteed zucchini with bacon and Parmesan. I hope if you decide to make it, you like it as much as we do. (It does make a mess with the splattering grease, but its worth it in my opinion)
