I saw a recipe for cloud bread. it was on pintrest or fb?

3 ingredients: Eggs, Cream of tarter, and cream cheese. I haven't made it yet, but plan to soon.

Your biscuits look great I may need to do that one too!

I miss "bread" so much, & something like this, or James' world famous protein pancakes, satisfies that longing so well. You could use these to make blackberry cobbler too -- sweetening the blackberries with Stevia.

ok I see a picture but no recipe?
I use Carbquik on occasion..and use their cheese biscuit recipe on the box. I cant tell the difference between those and regular ones. I know there are some that wont use the carbquik, but i've found it helpful for holidays etc..I bought a box in october, keep it in the fridge, and probably wont use it all before it expires....but it sure lets me enjoy a good tasting biscuit once in a while!!

Just be aware the cheese isn't there for flavor... it helps with texture. If you're disappointed in the results without it, just use a mild, fresh mozzarella and you won't taste it.

A lot of keto baking uses cheese as a binder, and for creating a more gluten-like crumb.

Excellent! I had actually just pinned that one. I'll try it without the cheese and other savory flavorings.

I like this one.

How to Make Low Carb Biscuits

Make sure you sift your almond flour to get a really soft crumb. Use mozzarella cheese for a neutral taste. Of course, you'd leave out the garlic powder (add vanilla/almond extract), and add a bit of sweetener.

...another low-carb technique is to use protein powder as a substitute for flour. While I haven't tried it in this particular recipe, subbing in some vanilla protein powder for the almond flour may make for a nice shortcake/dessert option. Just use more almond flour than protein powder... protein powder seems to make for a 'tougher' 'drier' texture.

Hi everyone, Today is my anniversary. We aren't really celebrating today but sometime soon I would like to have a treat together with my hubby.

Generally, we don't have dairy or eggs but I'm willing to use them for special occasions like this. Also I don't use swerve or anything like that. My only current sweetener is concentrated stevia powder so that's why I was thinking a biscuit recipe would do the trick.

I got some creme fraiche that I'm going to sweeten and serve with raspberries. Would like to make it more like a shortcake.

I have almond and coconut flour available. Any tried and true recipes that would work well for this?
