Spent most of the day at the doctors for my son, he now has a sinus infection and bronchitis. Doctor says this is what they have been seeing with kids after they have H1N1. wondering if it will ever end. I have been gargling with salt water and Listerine. None seem to be working, cough getting worse. "sigh"

Had a good day today. Spent the whole day outside, doing yard work on such a beautiful, sunny day. Boy, is my body aching now and I hate to see what it's gonna feel like tomorrow. Surely, not as bad as I would have felt a few years ago. So, that makes me feel pretty good.
Never even thougt about food most of the day. Put on a pot roast, roasted potatoes and broccoli for dinner.

Good morning BBKB's
Did my exercise this morning. Whoo wee up to 30 minutes cardio video on demand. Did the grocery shopping last night, so all is good in the refrigerator and pantry. Ain't an ounce of junk food in there.
Decided that I would get some more yardwork done today since it sunny, still chilly but at least it's not raining. I can't beleive it's just weeks away from Thanksgiving. still lots of work to be done outside and with all the rain we have had the lawn needs to be cut just one more time.
So, I will be outdoors for some fresh air.
You all have a great day and don't forget, water may be a problem as the weather cools down but it is essential so do your best to get it in still. Decaf coffe and teas (decaf and herbal) both count as water.

I agree on the exercise Tina. I really want to make the time. Like right now, I don't have the time to get filthy and take another shower. It will be later today before I have unspoken for time. My DH works late every day and the boys are not cooperative enough for me to concentrate on running/walking. It's no fun when you fuss at children or listen to them fuss at each other. So I will try finding a few minutes multiple times a day to do some walking and running.

Finding time to exercise is struggle for me, too, Rebecca. I think we must look at it as "I must" just like we must go to work everyday, we must exercise. Even starting out a few 10 or 15 minutes a day. Surely, we can manage that.
I don't mind strength exercises so much and if I continue with the fram of mind that there is so much other stuff that needs to be done that and hour away will cause chaos later, I will never find the time. So maybe little chunks for now. I know 15 minutes of something everyday this week is not going to break the time bank and just increasing it every week by 5 or 10 minutes. I think I have to make exercise a priority. Well, for starters, today it will be 15 minutes out of my lunch break to walk around the work comlex.

Good evening BBKB's
Heck of a day today but I survived it. Got up early enough to get a short cardio video in and got in a quick 30 minute walk before the game started tonight. I have challenged myself to 25 wall squats for every Phillies run and 25 situps for every Yankees run..Home runs gets me 50 pushups from either team.
Have to enter my food journal yet tonight but all in all I had a pretty good day

It's been crazy for me too.

Hi everyone! Thanks to Vicki for getting the thread up. I had a crazier day than I thought I would. But I will weigh in tomorrow and see how it goes. I am sure this is TOM week so I have no idea how things will shake out.

I am sure everyone else is struggling with time as I am so I invite you to join me in a challenge. Take 5 minutes either the night before or in the morning and write of things you need to do. Example - get on BLC and POST something! Then you have a checklist for yourself. I do much better with something like that.

Good evening team;
Well after today's weigh in, I guess I should of held off til tomorrow with hopes of a little different outcome. Kinda think it won't really matter anyway. I know it's about time again to stop pussy footing around and realy get down to business.
The motivation is always there in the morning but by days end, it becomes such an effort.
Made a pact with my partner last night and one of them is to get on her and post my food and fitness, or should I say lack of fitness journals, these days. Need to go hunt her down and see how her day went. I am okay right now but it's too late for dinner again tonight and now have to find something light to hold me through to breakfast.
Hope everyone has a great weigh in and working hard on week 9. Boy does the time fly.
