Homemade soup is delicious, low in calories and fat, can be high in fibre, and is a delicious lunch or start for dinner. Save chicken, turkey or ham bones, or buy low-fat ready-made broths. Add some whole wheat noodles or brown rice, clean out the fridge for left-over vegetables, and experiment with herbs and spices. I make soup almost every week, and no two pots are the same. Todayís variety has home-made chicken broth, brown rice, carrots, celery, onion, cauliflower, corn and lots of spinach.

Quick tip... donít clean off your childrenís (or grandchildrenís) plates, and donít ďsampleĒ when preparing meals. I know thatís one of the ways I gained all my weight... and Iím determined not to do the same thing now that Iíve lost 20lbs. Be aware... old habits die hard.

I know this post is from last year but was strolling through and saw this one. I have to learn how to make spark my homepage. Some of the technical stuff escapes me.

Hey Team!!

Just thought I'd try to revive some of our other threads. I love the secrets of success feature on SP. Members give quick success secrets on all kinds of topics. Here's one I found today:

Sometimes it's really hard to pull ourselves out of a bad day or a slump or a bog. Just logging in tends to really help me so I totally agree with this member's secret of success. Take a look and see what you can find that might help you and others.

Have a great day friends!!

Post your favorite SP Secrets of Success HERE!

I found this one this morning:

I completely agree!! When stuck on a plateau (like I am now), I feel like I need to change something and shake it up a bit. Hence, the "Sack the Sugar" OMAT for next month. I'm really hoping that will break my plateau and start me losing again. I want to be LOSER!!! :-)

Have you found a favorite "Secret of Success"?? Share it HERE! :-)
