FORTUNA8890,I WENT THROUGH THIS LAST NIGHT. To be completely honest, I wanted to call him a jerk. However, I counted to five, took in some deep breaths and called out to St. Rita for her intercession. Then I prayed for a few minutes.

Being married we are called to "real" love. I am always asking myself, "can I really love?". Also, I know that it is important for me to remember that I am not perfect; I get on my husband's last nerve too. And I know that I can be same person he is at this moment.

FORTUNA8890, the more that I read as well as learn about marriage, the more I see how very important it is to live the sacrament with God's help. I cannot do it alone. So I pray, pray, pray. I go to Eucharistic Adoration once once a week, and Reconciliation monthly. I am responsible for showing my children how to live the sacrament of marriage and how to treat their spouse.

Marriage is a vocation. And I know from personal experience, a vocation takes a lot of hard work and sacrifice. Everything that I need to make my marriage work comes from God. No way can I do it on my own.

I wish to personally thank you FORTUNA8890 for being such a very special person and helping me in my marriage with your question.
