Good morning, yes weather has been weird the last few years. We are having lake levels higher the they have been in a good many years, people on the lake shore who had several hundred feet, or even a dune or two between the house and the water are either in danger of their home falling in the lake or have already lost their home to the lake. A couple we know have just gotten the permits from the Feds after almost a year of waiting, they have had the local permits from the get go. They need to put up a sea wall to protect the house, they have lost over 500 feet of land to the lake.House has been there for over 40 years, was their vacation cottage and they enlarged and remodeled when they retired. And you hear of this happening almost every day. There is even damage in town along the bay frontage.

Have a great day everyone and lets move on to March, see you there.

Thank you, Candi and wow! You're seeing the wild temperature swings too. In recent years I've begun calling it 'rubber band weather'.

Our snow pack is less than a third of what it was at this time last year. We need rain/snow! As February comes to an end we expect to see heat records and precipitation records set ... some that may break 'all time' records, meaning since record keeping began in the mid-1800's.

Happy to hear Callie is making progress. emoticon

First off thank you LSIG14. Jeanknee emoticon on meeting this months goal. As for Callie she went to her Vet yesterday and the puncture has healed over although they gave us an ointment to put in her eye twice a day. She still isn't eating much, at least not on a daily basis, but when she does you may need to keep your hand out of the way. Weather has been the pits the last couple of days, snow, wind and temps in the low 20's. They do say we "could" get into the 40's over the week end, but then it "could" go to 90 too, but more then likely won't.

Have a few things to do so make it a great day ladies.

Week end started out good, GD and her hubby came for a short visit. We had a great visit, went to a couple of the area beaches to check out the water level and went out to lunch. Later in the afternoon the dog went nuts playing, running around the front room and kitchen and ran into her crate door. We didn't realize she had hurt herself until after the kids left about ten when I tried to clean her eyes out and she yelped and pulled away. We called her vet but they where closed for Sunday but there was a number to call in case of emergency's, it was for an Emergency Vet. Clinic in town. Took her in and after about a 2 hour wait they said she had punctured her left eye and had fluid on the eye. Drops several times a day until healed with visits to our vet every 4-5 days so they could put dye in her eye to check for healing. Didn't even wear my tracker while the kids were here then siting in the vets most of yesterday didn't get in many either. Callie (the dog) is still very lackadaisical and we finally got her to eat some scrambled egg this morning as she hadn't eaten since Saturdays breakfast.

Jeanknee, thank you for my "trophy". Been a busy week and the weather has been crappy, some days I just forgot to put the tracker on or charge it. Today we have sun at least, but woke up on the right side of the dirt and its one day closer to spring.

Make it a good one ladies, emoticon

You're very welcome LSIG!

I am feeling guardedly optimistic this morning. I've had a couple of evenings in the past week where I've had energy available to remain awake into the evening hours. I've not had energy consistently available to take me into the evening hours for nearly 2 years now.

This may simply be a routine fluctuation which will be a part of my new norm living with a severely limited energy envelope.
