I been on SP for sometime now and I lose weight and track food, however, I stop because i was not ready to deal with my inner child who's been lock away. Now that I am sober and clean, I am ready now to deal with the hard core issues so that little girl can be free. I know that I will always protect her.

Our mind and body work in conjunction towards truth. Anything we lose we want to find - (keys, a book, relationship, etc.). So the minute the word loss is used, the mind takes steps to find it!
This word 'loss' is crucial! When originally used in regards to weight, people WANTED TO FIND THE WEIGHT! This is because the loss was usually due to cancer, DM or other illness.
Wall Street WANTS you to refind the weight so you will buy more of their products.
Since I've changed the words to 'shedding weight' or 'dropping pounds', the journey to lower numbers on the scale has been much more successful!

Have a TERRIFIC day!

There are 100 reasons and then some, depending on the person and the circumstances. For me, I have a problem with sugar. If I indulge in dessert or other sugary food more than a couple of days, it is like an alcoholic falling off the wagon. I start the vicious cycle of craving carbs and eating more and more. Then at some point, I get disgusted and get back on track by cutting all sugar.

"This too shall pass."

I think my mindset is that if I start a new diet plan, I will automatically lose weight.
I have just purchased the 100 Days of Weight Loss Book with the intention of finishing the program with weight loss progress.

For me I think it's boredom that makes me stop! In the case of letting sugar back in my diet, I've created more problems for myself! I hate that I do that!
