Interesting talk. I wonder if we all stood like Wonder Woman (or Superman for the guys) for two minutes before we sat down to write - or before we did much of anything - whether that would make a difference in the outcome.

Sure would be an interesting experiment for anyone willing to try and post here!!

Thanks, Triangle-Woman!

Along with our motivational verbal and written mantras, we need to pay attention to our less obvious non-verbal language. Turns out, we can "fake it until we make it" and here's how:

I watched a TED today that really opened my eyes as to how important our body language is, and how it has very real physiological impact on our hormones (Testosterone and Cortisol)

I bet your eyebrows are going up right now, thinking, "Those are some pretty powerful weight loss hormones..."

The funny thing is, this TED Talk had NOTHING to do with weight loss, but it has everything to do with success and giving us some more tools to reach our goals. So if you want to put another tool into your bag of tricks, watch this TED Talk.

And I dare you not to cry (or at least tear up significantly!) at the end when Amy Cuddy describes what "Faking it Until you Make It " did for her.

Here is the link:

I posted a few other thoughts on my blog, "I Double Dog Dare You" regarding how this concept might help you lose weight. See the blog if you want a few more observations.

So before you begin to write, strike a pose and see if it helps you open up and become more creative...
