I've been asked to share what I have done to earn the most popular blog award here at Spark.
I'm not EXACTLY sure what the mix is, but there is a mix to be found. Here are a few suggestions that may help you get started.

1) Read others blogs and leave comments.
2) Become actively involved in you spark team.
3) Be real.
4) Share from the heart.
5) Blog no more than 2 times per week.
6) Write about your experiences, not others.
7) Add pictures, whenever possible.
8) Try not to be too wordy. Spark people are busy and will 'skip' over the long wordy blogs whenever possible. I say this, but there are exceptions. If the story line of the blog is interesting enough, and you can catch a Sparkers full attention right away, they will read even long blogs.
9) Probably everything you have learned from a public blog, can be used here, as well.

10) We are here to loose weight and encourage each other! Be fearless on your topic if it's the real you coming out.
11) A 'Catchy blog name' may help draw readers, also.

I hope this will help you to get started writing blogs on Spark! WISHING YOU SUCCESS!!
