I have been doing ok with the workout had to take a break the other day but loving the biggest loser dvd's..tried a spark video today while at work too

Hi Im new and I would like to be in... I will exercise 6 times a week... 20 minutes or more... smiles... My goal is to make 1,000 fitness minutes a month or over. This month I have 817.. but it started counting august 17th when I came back to spark after being gone awhile...

I am committed to 6 days a week of exercise...today I did 40 minutes on the stationary bike ( while reading the third Hunger Games book which came out yesterday ) and tried a new dvd workout- kettlenetics which consists of a lot of squats while holding a 4 lb kettle ball.

I've been fighting off some kind of bug, but I'm noticing I'm cranky if I don't get some decent workout time.

I bought a new toy a hr monitor and walked straight up the hill in our neighborhood. 45 min and 605 calories - my heart was pumping at 160/min. It's a very steep hill and I really feel it in my buns the next day.

I agree that the scale should not be the only measurement. I am just not losing but my blood pressure is always great and my cholesterol is so low that the nurse asked me if I was taking something to bring it down. "No,"I retorted,"I'm fat but I'm fit." We both laughed at that.

Just checking in - 30 minutes on the elliptical and 32 minutes ST with my new dvd. Food good.

I need to start exercising daily again! I actually just started the "Couch to 5K" programme yesterday, and it's amazing so far. It requires at least 25 minutes of exercise 3 times a week. I did the first workout yesterday, and it wasn't as hard as I expected, but I definitely sweat! On the days I don't have a workout I plan to walk my dog for at least half an hour. Let's do this! emoticon

One of the leaders told me to not judge things by the scale alone. Look for the little things like how well do your clothes fit, any change in your measurements? Keep it up and you will get there. emoticon
