I'm no expert and I don't know anything about calcium silicate, I'm afraid, but as a general rule I think it is best to assume additives are illegal unless you know for sure they are allowed. Herb and spice mixtures are generally not allowed unless you make them yourself, as they are likely to contain additives. Could you just use some garlic and some salt? That way you would know you were on safe ground.

I seem to be ok with tomatoes, but that doesn't necessarily mean you are - that's why we all have to go through trying foods ourselves to see whether they work for us or not - we are all unique individuals. Was there anything else in the tomato sauce that you might have reacted to?

Hey everyone! I have a couple questions that I'm hoping someone already knows the answer to..:)

Is Calcium silicate allowed on the diet? I found it in garlic salt but haven't been able to find anything about it specifically.

Has anyone had issues with tomatoes? I'm worried that I made kick-butt homemade tomato sauce and it may have caused my symptoms to come back. But I love tomatoe's so I'm hoping it was something else.

Thoughts? Thanks!
