February 1 - 30 minutes circuit training
February 2 - 60 minutes ST, 10 minutes circuit training
February 3 - 50 minutes walking, 3 mph
February 4 - 60 minutes cleaning closets
February 5 - 40 minutes walking = 2 miles
February 6 - 60 minutes emptying bookcases, moving furniture
February 7 - 60 minutes cleaning, 30 minutes circuit training

February 8-11 - no exercise
February 12 - 60 minutes cleaning

Sorry, forgot to track here... Walked 30 miles on my virtual walk since last posting. Will start a new list for new week.

Thank you, Alison, for starting this challenge.

My fitness goals for 2016 are:
- work up to 10,000 steps/day, treadmill or walking outside
- virtual walk around Nova Scotia, where I grew up
- swimming 2 times/week
- ice skating with DH 2 times/week, January-April, October-December
- ST at home using resistance bands, stability ball, medicine ball and free weights

I commit to tracking these goals weekly on this topic

Week 1:
Monday, Jan 11 - treadmill 1 mile, ST 15 minutes
Tuesday, Jan. 12 - no exercise
Wednesday, Jan. 13 - walked in snow 40 minutes
Thursday, Jan. 14 - no workout
Friday, Jan. 15 - 15 minutes ST, 15 minutes treadmill
Saturday, Jan. 16 - 30 minutes ST
Sunday, Jan, 17 - 30 minutes ST
Total Week 1: worked out 5/7 days this week

Week 2:
Monday, January 18 - 30 minutes circuit training
Tuesday, January 19 - 20 minutes circuit training, 20 minutes treadmill
Wednesday, January 20 - walking 40 minutes
Thursday, January 21 - setting up/taking down tables/chairs for church lunch - 45 minutes
Friday, January 22 - 2 hours heavy cleaning
Saturday, January 23 - no workout
Sunday, January 24 - 20 minutes circuit training
Week 2: exercised 6/7 days this week

Week3:
Monday, January 25 - 30 minutes walk, 60 minutes heavy cleaning
Tuesday, January 26 - 60 heavy cleaning
Wednesday, January 27 - 120 minutes moving furniture, cleaning
Thursday, January 28 - 60 minutes moving furniture, cleaning; 20 minutes circuit training
Friday, January 29 - 30 minutes walking
Saturday, January 30 - 30 minutes walking
Sunday, January 31 - 20 minutes cleaning, 20 minutes circuit training
Exercised 7/7 days

This challenge is for those of you who want to improve/increase your fitness in 2016! Please share your goals, and your progress toward meeting those goals in this forum!

My fitness goals for 2016 are to:
Exercise at least 10 minutes daily, and average at least 5 hours per week exercise.
Strength and stretch exercises: at least 2x per week
Gradually increase distance, speed, and elevation gain on my hikes

I met my goals for the first week of 2016!
