Welcome to Spark and the team. You have a wonderful goal. What helped keep me positive was setting smaller intermediate goals with small steps so I kept feeling successful.

Welcome to the team. There is so much information on this site. I know that diabetes is such a devastating illness, ut you can get it under control and totally reverse it with proper eating habits

Well, first of all Hello and welcome to our team. Second, no matter what stay positive. Make sure to drink plenty of water and they have great recipes on here that can help you out. Make sure to keep in touch with us. Make sure to do your exercises. I know that it is a lot of work, but the outcome will be well worth it. emoticon emoticon

Hi,

I'm sorry I didn't see this earlier. I have Type 2 Diabetes too. I try not to eat any processed flour products. I eat a lot more vegetables. It changes your whole life but ... not in a bad way. You can do it!

Hi, I'm Jackie from New Hampshire.
I have Type 2 Diabetes, and am working at lowering my blood sugar. This illness has changed my life, and I need to get my #s under 110 in order to stay off medication. This is a reachable goal, I just need to control my eating habits.
Your help is greatly appreciated!
