WHITEANGEL4 - Sorry to hear your "segment" is a little out of sorts! Glad to hear you will be getting in plenty of exercise!

CAROLJEAN64 - Kudos for having your writing published in the studio blog! You are a wonderful writer and it is well deserved.

I want you to know that this morning I also looked back at my segments more carefully! My day was more productive than normal l and I too think setting meaningful intentions multiple times a day at different points made so! It is so easy to forget the "one big positive intention" I usually set early in the day!

I'm going to think about this lesson again today, and purposely segment my intentions and focus on my evening segments in terms of food consumption and peace.

Yesterday I found myself somewhat agitated and I prowled the kitchen looking for something to eat in the evening. I don't do this all evenings, but often enough where it becomes a bother and interferes with other things I could/should be doing or enjoying.

I'm not acting on the impulse to eat (usually!) but I find having to resist it annoying and a lot more work than I want to be doing.

I'm patting myself on the back because I've come a LONG way and I dutifully track all my food without hesitation or recrimination anymore....even the evening BLTs.

Wow. That is huge for me because I've always resented and hated tracking!

But I still lack peace with food at certain times of the day and I need to focus my intentions and try to resolve these "segments" of time where I'm discontented....

XOXO

It was fun today to check out how segmenting my time yesterday worked out. If I had that whole list staring me in the face, I'm not sure what I would have accomplished. By approaching each task as a segment of my day, I was able to accomplish them all. And.... the owner of the yoga studio where I work wants to use my writing in the studio blog.

Life is pretty peaceful today on all fronts. But I have lots of things on my "to do" list.

Picked a card at random and came up with the thought below. I had to laugh because after I'm done with my Sparking "segment" I intend to move on to my "laundry and cleaning" segment...and I just decided that I'm going to intentionally schedule time for my "writing" segment because that is what I really love to do!!

Oh and I won't forget my "fitness segment!"

So here is the card I picked:

"I Divide Each Day into Segments of Intentions"

"The point from which you are consciously perceiving-that point is a segment. Your day may be divided into many segments. It is not necessary to have a rigid schedule of segments, but it is important that you clearly identify when you are moving from one segment of intentions into another segment of intentions."

I usually set an "intention for the day"....but perhaps I'd do better to divide my day into "segments of intention". Perhaps any day is too chaotic for a "one size fits all" intention....

How do you use the power of intention?

Do you divide it up and alter your positive intent through the day as circumstances change? Or do you set one big positive intention for the day?
