And congratulations to everyone participating in these challenges and putting forth a great effort. I wish there were a way that I could give some kind of reward or more incentives!

Nice job with the walking 6-13 miles. That's quite incredible! Even if your weight is staying the same, keep pushing. Believe that something in your body is improving, even if it's just your endurance... but at least that!

lol wow! That's ironic. I hope both of you ladies can somehow overcome your obstacles. Right now, I cannot commit to either. I will definitely stay active, but I'm not sure if I'll get to 3 miles this week. I'm also not sure about the 1 lb, being that it's the last week of classes and I often snack when I'm studying. Anyway, I did start this morning with a bottle of water and two apples!! emoticon

I'm the other way round! I'm happy to do the walking, but I can't commit to losing any weight!

I walked 13 miles! My weight stayed the same tho! Oh well, at least it's not a gain! On to next week!

I've walked 17 miles, and lost 2lbs! Mounts up doesn't it!

Sounds good - think I need to get new batteries pedometer, though, as I lose track of how much I walk around the track at the gym!

I'm in. I average 3 miles a day walking 6 to 7 thousand steps. My goal is 10,000 steps a day. So I think I can do this. Now losing the one pound is going to be a lot harder. I've been stuck on a plateau for almost 2 months. I've started keeping a food diary. So losing a pound would mean so much to me.

I am in-good timing for a walking challenge, I just purchased the Leslie sansone walking DVD, outside weather will not stop me from walking!

Never try to teach a pig to sing. It wastes your time and annoys the pig-unknown
