My goals are:

1. Lose 15 pounds by the end of the challenge
2. Eat 5 servings of vegetables a day
3. Stay within my caloric intake of 1210 calories a day
4. Drink at least 8 glasses of water a day
5. Do at least 30 minutes of exercise a day
6. Walk at least 5 miles a week
7. Work toward eating a raw, vegan diet (I am a vegetarian)
8. Track my food and exercise daily
9. Explore different types of exercises
10. Become mentally fit

I do most of these already but I want to reinforce them and put in the new ones.

2) Track fitness and be serious

Plans
1) Make time for myself to work on my spiritual growth
2) Spend more quality time with my pre-teen daughter who is struggling with challenges of adolescence
3) Be there for my Sparkfriends

First 28 days of the Challenge
1) Lose at least 8 pounds
a. Low Fat Vegan using E2 and Starch Solution
b. 2 splurge meals
c. SparkCoach daily
d. Document food daily
e. 1/2L Green Smoothie per day
2) Exercise
a. Bike 6 miles per day on days at beach
b. Jillian Michaels Revolution get up to full Phase 1 and 2 schedule
c. Yoga at least 10 min per day
d. Landmarks
i. 2 min of Plank on feet
ii. 2 min of Downward Facing Dog
3) Writing
a. Non-fiction book
i. Have it ready to publish
ii. If choose to publish self publish on Amazon
b. Fiction
i. Expanded outline complete (Fiction book #1)
ii. Brainstorm new books
4) Keep up with 2013 Media Challenge
a. Read 4 books
b. Watch 4 movies

Nutrition:
Stay withing suggested nutritional ranges
Lose 1-1/2 to 2 lbs per week
Incorporate more grains into my diet
Fitness:
Strength train 2 days per week, doing the number of reps as suggested

Hello Team!!

No matter where you are in the challenge (or in life), I feel that it is important to have well-thought out goals and a plan of action that you will use to reach those goals. Your goals should be reasonable and tailored to you.

I have posted my Goals that I hope to reach by the end of this challenge. I have also posted a very general plan to get to my goal. Your goal/plan can be as detailed or as vague as you would like it to be. Remember, these are health and/or fitness goals.

GOALS
1) Deeper relationship with and increased faithfulness to God
2) Lose 10-15 lbs
3) Drop 1 pantsize
4) Be able to run a 5K

PLAN
1) Daily Prayer and Scripture
2) Meditation/Yoga @ least twice per week
3) 4-6 servings of veggies per day
4) 80 oz. (at least) of water per day
5) 1 cheat day per 2 weeks (2,200 calories or less)
6) Blog 1 meal per day

So, this is my plan and these are my goals. Please, do not beat yourself up when you mess up; however, don't become comfortable with making mistakes. Always be willing to adjust your plans and goals if you need to.
