Yesterday, my tracker failed to record a lot of the steps I took, and therefore, I lost the streak I had going for the Glow Getter Award. I had walked for a solid hour in the afternoon and only counted 23 minutes of it for less that 1,000 steps. I think the reason was the location of the tracker on the pants I was wearing. I think I will change into sweats the next time I have to exercise after spending time on the road doing errands, etc. and wear semi-dress pants.

Have been doing my workouts and have been watching the nutrition. There have been a few days where I have not met my personal goal of 10,000 steps per day since I have a contractor here working on my kitchen and pantry. I have had to spend time moving a lot of things which adds up to time a work which does not add a lot of steps. I have managed 500 total calories burned each day, but not all of them come from the actual workouts. Maybe once the work has been completed I can do my personal goals more easily.

So far I have completed both challenge for all the days in February. I have not gotten the 10,000 steps in my personal challenge for the last two days, but I have average 10,000 steps a day for the the week. Will try for 10,000 each day next week, unless I have a lot of house cleaning to do to keep ahead of my contractor. I work hard when I am moving things out of his way, but don't get as many steps.

I have not gotten my 10,000 steps today, nor have I burned 500 calories through exercise. However, I have been working on emptying out a cabinet so that when my contractor arrives on Monday it can moved out of the house and he can begin the pantry renovations. Did shovel snow this morning before starting the housework. I may have gotten more steps and burned calories with the shoveling because I stopped to move my vehicle and the tracker may have only counted what I had done before the vehicle was moved. I also shovel two buckets of ashes out of my wood furnace, carried them up the cellar stairs and spread them on any place in the driveway that was icy from the plow truck.

I really feel like I have gotten in a really good day of exercise even if my tracker has recorded that many steps and calories burned. I am exhausted and need to rest so that I can finished the cabinet tomorrow.

Am on track for both challenges. Could possibly drink more water, but I am getting 10,000 steps a day and am burning 500 calories per day with exercise. Hope to keep it up all month

Just starting back after a looooong time away. I think I'll start with Challenge 1 and will start today. Hope everyone is off to a terrific start to their day!

Wednesday February 3 Team Challenges 1 -- Think I was short a few grams of protein yesterday, and 1 serving of fruit/vegies...but I did the rest AND I did a 30 minute walk/jog with 5 minutes of stretching on either side of that! So happy! emoticon

Thursday February 4 Team Challenges 1 -- fell short today...unexpectedly missed dinner cuz I didn't have a back up plan. So fruits, protein, and fat were all shy of my miniumum. At least I got my water in! emoticon

Friday February 5 Team Challenges 1 -- emoticon

Saturday February 6 Team Challenges 1 -- emoticon

So far have rocked both Challenges. Need a few more steps for today to reach my personal goal, but I have managed 10,000 steps for a couple of days, and have burned 500 calories through exercise!

Count me in again. I need to work harder on Challenge 1 as there are days I do not get enough water. I do vaguely keep track of my nutrition and weigh any foods that need that for proper measurement, but I don't actually keep track of calories. The spark nutrition tracker takes too much time on my laptop--but I do keep a written log from time to time.

Challenge 2 is easy as I sometimes feel I am addicted to exercise. I am going to try to get 10,000 steps per day on most days, and burn at least 500 calories working out each day.

Good Morning Team

Congratulations on all your hard work for January's Team Challenge, keep up the great work.

I encourage you to post your results so I can give each one of you who participated your Spark Goodie Award. They will come out this week...

Hard to believe but Monday we begin a brand new month of February and I am encouraging you all to keep up with your daily fitness and eating healthy, remember to post your daily Nutrition and Fitness results daily.

I have included Sunday January 31st with the 1st week of our new month of February rather than leave it as a separate day with starting February's Challenge from Monday thru Saturday .

Let's Keep Pushing Ahead to become Healthy, Stronger and Fitter Men and Women for Jesus... I am offering 2 Team Challenges for March, you are welcome to participate in any of the following, if you are able, I encourage you to participate in Both Challenges.

February Team Challenge # 1

Drink at least 6 to 8 Glasses or more Water per day
Eat a Combo of 6 to 8 servings of Veggies and Fruits per day
Track Nutrition daily
Stay within Calorie Range per day
Eat the proper amount of Fat and Protein daily

February Team Challenge # 2

Track Daily Fitness

Strength Train at least 3 times a week; at least 10 minutes or more each session

Stretching routine after each Fitness session at least 5 minutes or more per session

Cardio and or Gymnastics daily at least 10 minutes or more each session

Walk, Run, Jog, Ride at least 3 times a week at least 10 minutes or more per session

So who is onboard? I believe you can at least do a few of these sessions and have a successful month of February.

Remember; everyone is a winner here, one thing we can do is work at getting healthier and stronger together....Let's Do it....We Can, 1 step and 1 day at a time... As always I stand with you cheering you on your journey...
