JonisMarie, only three people sent there final weights. From this it was hard to tell who would be the winner. The winner would have to choose the next challenge.

Jonis, that's okay we all fall off that wagon. Just take it one day at a time! Try some meditation techniques to free your mind. Sometimes I have to close my eyes and lie down and HOPEFULLY think about nothing.

How is everyone doing on those walks. Its almost coming to an end. Let's get moving and enjoy the rest of the summer.

How funny Mica!
I lost 3 last week and I probably gained this week. We must be living parallel lives!

But, on a good note, I did work out really hard today and it felt good. I also ate well and drank my water, so maybe I am back on track.

That's okay Jan, we all fall off the wagon once in awhile. I know I stayed within my calorie range today but I ate a lot of junk food today. Chips, swiss rolls and too much trail mix.

So sorry to hear about your computer woes! Kids can be totally destructive at times. Ugh!

As for the challenge, I am plugging right along!
I will be working out really late tonight since I am dropping off one kid to spend the night at the grandparent's house and then the younger one has minor surgery in the morning.

Just wanted to check in quickly. Followed the schedule for our challenge on 7/21 and 7/22. Instead of doing lunges I did knee lifts,[bad hip due to r/a and can't do lunges] altho I did attempt 1 lunge, and I will attempt it every day of challenge just to see if I can do it. Hope everyone has a great day.

Great achievement requires great perserverance.

Nautica, you can still join. I meant to say log on at a minimum of 3 times every five days. This is so we can be updated on how everyone is doing.

heres yesturdays agenda....

4min Min Warm up slowly
4min Min Increase to a moderate pace
7min Min Speed up
7min Min Do walking lunges
10:20 Min Walk at a moderate pace
13.10 Min Alternate 30 seconds fast; with 30 seconds moderate
16.35 Min Repeat walking lunges
20 Min Recover
20 Min Alternate 1 minute fast; with 1 minute moderate
35min Slow pace to cool down



great way to start the challenge , especially for me.

Hi Jan,
I would like for us to check in daily, but at a minimum of three times. I like to see how everyone is getting along. At least you committed to the lunges. I went around the track today. There were high schoolers there, I was so embarrassed. But I completed the challenge today.

Hello all:
I know we don't have to check in daily, but it does help me to stay accountable to someone.

So, I did my first challenge walk today, but it is miserably hot and humid. Ugh! I am sure I looked a sight trying the lunges!

emoticon I'm really excited to get going with the challenge. I have created this thread for everyone who opted in the challenge. Rather than divide us into teams, I thought we could benefit more if we do this together.

We will determine the winner of this challenge by the person who has lost the most weight. I know with all of us working together we will have even more success.

I would like us all to try to check in and update us on your progress at least two times during every routine change. This will help us to provide you with support and encouragement if needed. Also if you are having success during this time it could help motivate others.
