Maybe this is what I need to motivate me again. I am so tired of seeing myself in the 200's. I weigh more than the Maintenance Man at our office and I'm sick of feeling this way. So, I am in. I usually weigh myself on Sunday mornings.

My weigh-in day was today (Saturday)... so I'm ready to start this challenge weighing in at 263.

OK I guess it time for me to get off my butt & really do something to lose this weight since it won't go away on it's own(lol) I'll take this challenge! I've put off weighing for about 2 months ago because it was depressing & was I ever surprised! I weighed a whopping 258.5 (yikes!)I have never been this big!! I've got to get this under control!!!So when do we start this challenge?

I would like to try... my weigh in day is also Saturday. My weight today was 236.5.

New Year's Goal: This year, I want to remain a non smoker since I just quit. I also want to drop at least 50 pounds.
Exercise daily is: walking
Caloric intake: 1400-1700

Hi Jenn,
Glad to see the team moving again.......having said that, I am not able to join in the up coming challenge so would you please remove me from the team. I will check in on the postings etc. but just not doing the challenge for now. Good Luck!!

Watching salt intake also trying not to buy foods that have high fructose corn syrup, sugar, rice syrup, corn syrup, fructose, sucrose etc. in the first three ingredients.

No foods that have more than 3 ingredients that I can not pronounce.

If an item has more than 10 ingredients I put it on the Do Not Buy List as it is too processed.

I'm in! My official weigh in day is on Saturday mornings so this will fit real nicely into what I'm already doing!!! I will wait to post my starting weight until this coming Saturday! This will definitely be fun! :)

Hi Guys.... Lets get these challenges back up and running. The next challenge starts next Monday. Reply by Saturday to this message if you want to join this challenge. Also post your starting weight so I can divide us into teams.
Here are the rules...
1. Post at least 1 time a week with your weight.
2. Post at least 1 time a week with how your challenge is going.
3. If you don't post your weight by Saturday you will be removed from your team.

Our Challenge:
Get Moving for January. At least 45 minutes of cardio 3 days each week and Strength training of at least 4 days each week (one day arms, one day core, one day legs, one day whole body). Also make sure you drink at least 10 glasses of water a day.

We all can do it!
I will post by Sunday teams!!!!
