Aw man the struggle is real! It was a very hard thing for me to let go but it does get easier after awhile. I'm rooting for you!
I read in a health article once that not only is it bad because of the high calorie/sugar content but it actually sabotages the metabolism.

Get you some of the Clear water at walmart. It has the fizz of soda but none of the caffeine or calories. It is awesome and has so many flavors. I love the lemon best.

I understand fully. I love the fizz of soda. It's what I'm addicted to, not necessarily the caffeine. Routing for you on this quest emoticon

I'm trying to get away from all caffeine as well because I feel better without it. I don't mind drinking water. I like the taste. I just like Coke A LOT more....

Hang in there. It's a tough habit to break. Try something healthier, with a bit of flavor, like a green tea or something once a day for a "treat".

Doing my best...one day at a time.

Try squeezing a little lemon juice in your water. It might help with the craving a little bit.Great job keeping it up. One more day after today and you have a whole week!!!!

Congratulations! That sounds difficult. How much soda were you drinking before you quit?

I stopped drinking soda on 1 Jan. I am having such a hard time. The craving for the soda is so strong. I've drank a lot of water today. It's really tough :(
