I saw a movie about an older gentleman and how he would write uplifting letters to neighbors, someone her didn't know but saw a lot, etc. Not only did it make the recipient happy, but he felt better, too.

So this past week I wrote a few letter to neighbors and mailed them, but didn't sign my name.
One was to a single father telling him what a polite child he had and that shows how much he is loved at home. I thanked him for being a terrific parent.

I also sent one to a neighbor lady who has lost a leg to diabetes. I told her that I see her often with her cute little dog. I want to stop and say help, but it seems I'm always late for something. I told her the neighborhood isn't the same when she isn't going around in her power chair with that sweet dog by her side. Again, I mailed it, but didn't sign my name.

You could always tell when someone got one because they would have a smile on all day.
