How do you feel when you miss a work out?

Fine. That's life sometimes!

Slightly guilty, but I usually find a way to be more active the next day.

Anxious and guilty. I can't stop beating myself up about it.

not sure, I guess it would depend on if that body was healthy and I had the tools and knowledge to keep it that way.

Not sure how to answer this one. I had to change things a couple of times because of pains, but I'm not sure if you count them as injuries. They weren't something that was a sudden pain obviously caused by something I did. I have trouble with my Achilles tendon and my right elbow gives me trouble. Both started after I started working out, but I didn't really feel like a specific action brought on either of them.

Great job! Goodie coming.
(Acetic acid lends vinegar its sour taste. Monosodium glutamate is a food additive in savory foods, and malic acid is a food additive with a sour or tart taste. Maltodextrin is a form of sugar that adds sweetness and calories.)

Slow but steady is the best way to get to your goal of losing weight. We can only do what we can; so as circumstances change, you will be able to revisit the activity level. You are doing good, so hang in there!

My goals started out more defined, but I realized I have some special circumstances and need more vague plans.
My first goal is simply to move more. Working on 10 minutes a day of good activity (that counts as a work out) plus more activity overall. Second is to eat. I have a major lack of appetite. I wouldn't mind if it caused me to lose weight, but instead I am holding on the weight tightly. lol So, I'm trying to get into the habit of making sure I eat every few hours. Right now, that means I'm eating anything just so I'm eating, but I hope to improve the quality of the food soon. I just can't stomach most fruits and veggies right now. The thought turns my stomach. :( I was eating 6+ servings for weeks and now I just can't. :(
This is really all I hope for right now. I'm not sure how to explain what all is going on to bring this situation about, but it is what it is.
I would love to lose 25-30 lbs, get in great shape, etc, but that isn't possible right now. Just having a healthier life is and if I eventually lose weight from it, wonderful. :)

New Question

Is your goal specific, meaning that it includes details like numbers (lose 20 pounds, eat 5 fruits and veggies, walk 30 minutes) and dates (by January, every day, each week)?

Yes, it's got all that!

It includes one of the above (numbers or dates), but not both

No, it's simple and kind of vague (lose weight, exercise more, eat better)

I don't have a short term goal.

I don't have a long term goal.

I don't have a goal!

How do you measure your exercise intensity?

I wear a personal heart rate monitor

I use the monitors on cardio machines

I estimate it using the RPE scale (Rate of Perceived Exertion)

I estimate it using the Talk Test ( level where you can answer a question, but not comfortably carry on a conversation)

I check my pulse several times

I just work until it feels hard or I start sweating

Target Heart Rate (THR)

I don't measure my exercise intensity

Answer to last question - true
Experts state: Allergy symptoms are often minimal on wet, cloudy or windless days because pollen does not circulate well under those conditions. Hot, dry and windy weather, however, increases the amount of pollen and mold in the air, resulting in more severe allergy symptoms.

A friend or family member expressed their concern for my health

My doctor advised me to lose weight for my health

Losing weight made it easier for a sport I played

all of the above. Just make sure that the dark chocolate does not contain any dairy products. Milk and other dairy product counteract with the anti-oxidants in the chocolate.

I have "The Spark", "SparkPeople Cookbook" and "Spark Solutions"

I set my ticker to my highest weight of 210 lbs because it gets upset and doesn't want to save when I gain weight instead of lose.

Eat this, not that.
Which of the following food switches makes the most sense for health and weight loss?

Steel-cut oats instead of instant oats with sugar

Unbuttered popcorn instead of potato chips

A small piece of dark chocolate instead of milk chocolate candy bar

All of the above
