OMG! orange scone--my fav! I stick to reg coffee--and save the scones for splurging--what a treat! LOVE the Mediterranean salad with chicken instead of shrimp--and the summer berry salad is my go to meal for the summer!

My hugest weakness EVER...orange scones and caramel latte ( I can thrash 850 calories in those two items) emoticon

This will be my 3rd (or maybe 4th) year if I participate in the run--I run some--walk some--and I love that one. I will probably sign up for it along with my best friend!

I was just wondering how many / if any participate in the Susan G Komen race for the cure? Coming up, this year june 14. iI have a team started...and although I am not a runner...I plan on getting some healthy walk time in for a good cause!! Let me know if you'd be interested in walking with our team emoticon

Going shopping today with my wonderful hubby. We will be stopping to eat out. I just need to stick to my plan and not indulge in fried foods. (they are my weakness). I love seafood so that's on the menu. Hope all of my fellow journey companions have a great and blessed day.

I have a hard time using a juicer frequently---I like chewing my food so much! Good luck to you with that. I hope it continues to go well!

Hello Team,

I am so sorry that I have not been online. I have been so busy with trying to find a job and trying to find new ways to lose weight. My husband bought a juicer and I have been juicing for about a week now. It is amazing how much better I feel but I have only lost a couple of pounds with it so far. I hurt my knee when I slipped on ice so I have not been able to do much exercise but hopefully I can get back to it soon. Hope you all are having a great week.

I've been having such a hard time staying away from the sweets for the last month, and this time of year--it's not getting any easier.
I had a great time shopping with my best friend weekend before last--we stopped for coffee at least twice--got so much accomplished and lots of walking too. I'm not done with my shopping yet, but I'm planning to finish it up this weekend (about time, eh?).

Ok--so, since my favorite thing to do when I make it to the Quad Cities is to meet my best friend @ Panera for coffee and conversation (along with whatever else we have on the agenda--often includes shopping and/or Planet Fitness)--I thought I'd start a thread for everyday visiting..."coffee with friends" if you will.
This will be ongoing..all year...
Some of my best "therapy sessions" are experienced with my friends this way.
Looking forward to the coming conversations!
