Cold and rainy here..freezing and getting slick. I got up early and walked to church then came back to get the kids for the omelet breakfast for the school- yummy--but I was still hungry when I got home,(who knows why) so I had a banana while I brewed coffee- now I'm ready to curl up with a book :) Maybe a movie with my OH later today, if it's not too icy for him to come into town. He got called into work this morning (road crew), so he might be working through movie time anyway.

Worked out again last night at the Y...DS came with me again! I'm so proud of him. Looking forward to a break in the cold--whenever it comes :)

The cold and wind is a real pain! Not as bad today as it was yesterday though. Took my youngest son with me to the Y for a workout last night-- I bribed him with a ride home (since it was too cold to make him walk), but we were going to the Y before heading home. He grumbled a bit, but in the end-- I was all done and ready to leave, and he had wanted to extend his stay, because he had found a friend to work out with. I took him out for Chinese afterwards (shrimp and mixed veggies), and he talked about how excited he is to start being more active and to make better food choices more often than he already does! I'm so proud of him!

Started my day by joining some girls at work for a 20 minute walk before classes started this morning. I plan to walk again after work and maybe get in some ST. We'll see what the day brings.

Tried a new machine at the Y yesterday that I'd also seen at Planet Fitness before...the arc trainer- I thought it looked awkward, but I was finally brave enough to give it a shot, (after watching a youtube video on how to operate it), and I think I will use it again! It was different , but I like it.

Weight keeps coming back down toward goal weight- inching down every day since my salty, crunchy weekend.
I skipped ST@Y yesterday- I had too much that needed my attention at home, and I've been so tired lately, I decided to sacrifice it to do some things to avoid feeling overwhelmed by undone chores.

Good morning!
Yesterday was great. Got to the Y for ST and cardio. Came home to flowers smuggled into my room from my OH and a sweet card. It made my day. Don't know what's on the agenda for today. Have a great Saturday!

Good Morning Everyone!
Busy last few days--
Weight is in range 148.4--exercise is good. I made it to gym right after work yesterday, because I have my bag pre-packed and in the car! That's my healthy behavior for the week :)

Anyone signing up for the B-rrry Scurry in Clinton on the first Saturday of February? I have done it last two years, and I'll probably do it again this year, but I haven't signed up yet.

Good morning, everyone!
Life is good, my weight is in range, my kids are well, and I think all the growing pains/relationship crises (me, and two of my kids and their respective SO's were all in potential crisis the last week...weird) I think us girls have issues with our hormones that we are still working on figuring out :) It really throws the balance out of life and it shows in how I eat/exercise/cope with stress and little hurts. I'm back up to my original maintenance weight of 148...had been as low as 144.2 over past week.
Now I'm enjoying a cup of coffee and a short break from my work to check in. I love being in a good mood, and that is my usual state; it really reminds me to be grateful for it when I've missed it for several days in a row.
I'm so glad I had my positive Spark Friends to "creep" on during my week of the funk...it helped me to not get completely lost- so thank you to everyone!

Didn't weigh myself this morning, but yesterday I was 2.6 below my new goal of 147. I continue to eat below target-anxiety does this to me. Started with my plan to speak up for myself better last night, and I'm hoping it is the beginning of working toward relieving some of that anxiety.

145 this morning- 3 below goal, didn't eat well yesterday- only got slightly more than half daily target met...anxiety is making it hard for me to have much appetite, but I'm making sure to eat healthy when I can manage to get something down.

Not having a great day. Had a wonderful meal with some fantastic friends last night to bring in the new year. I needed them and their support so much, and the brought it! I am very grateful for them. I'm hoping God will bring me the answers and opportunity I need to help me to figure out things that have me in a funk the last while.
