Strengthen your biceps with 4 seated towel holds.

How to do it
Sit and place a rolled-up towel under your thighs, just above your knees. Grasp either end of the towel with your palms facing in and thumbs up. Anchor your feet to the floor, keeping your chest open and back straight. Inhale deeply, then exhale and pull the towel up toward the ceiling with all of your strength. Inhale and release, then repeat three more times.

Why it matters
This is a great way to build strength in your arms, specifically your biceps, while also engaging the muscles in your mid-back (they act as stabilizers as you perform the action). And as an added bonus, as you anchor your feet, you should feel work in your hamstrings and glutes. This is a great exercise for anyone looking to build bicep strength, and is particularly helpful for those with arthritis, because you are working the muscles without moving them.
