I did Walk it Out exercises on the DVD Cardio Blast ...did the warm up, the 10 minutes of walking and the cool down and then onto the Lateral leg lifts for 2 sets of 10 reps.

Strengthen your legs and promote healthy knee joints with 10 seated leg extensions.

How to do it
Sit up straight and toward the front edge of your chair. Lift your right knee up, flex your foot (point your toes to the ceiling) and extend your leg out in front of you. Then pull your heel back in toward you, and place your foot back on the floor. Repeat four more times on the right, then switch and stretch your left leg five times.

Why it matters
This is a great way to strengthen your quadriceps muscles and work the tendons and ligaments that support your knee joints without putting extra weight on them. Keeping your knee joints limber will improve range of motion and can assist with managing pain.

Fun Fact
The first total knee replacement took place in 1968. Since then, the surgery has become extremely common, with more than 300,000 performed annually in the United States alone.
