Plan a meal with friends or as a family.

How to do it
Decide on a date, time, and place with your family or friends, and schedule a meal together. If the meal is going to be at a restaurant, agree in advance on how much everyone wants to spend, and select a place that serves healthy food. If it's going to be a home-cooked meal, potluck, or picnic (options that can be a lot more relaxed and wallet-friendly!), discuss who's cooking and what to bring.

Why it matters
Making time for meals with people you care about can be a treat! It gives you an emotional boost and renews your energy for your normal routine. Although meals with friends and family may be a challenge to arrange, the benefits range from a stronger sense of togetherness to healthier eating habits.

Fun Fact
At Chillout, an "ice restaurant" in Dubai, everything - including the chandeliers, chairs, tables, plates, and glasses - is sculpted of crystal-clear ice. Yet the menu offers hot (and cold) food and drinks.
