____ Jul 1 The year is half over. Set monthly goals for the second half of the year.

X Jul 2 Purchase food and decorations for your 4th of July celebration, and/or make plans to view fireworks with you family.

NA Jul 3 Try drying linens outside so they will smell especially fresh.

X Jul 4 Independence Day. Hang your flag outside.

____ Jul 5 Donate or toss home decor you donít like any longer.

____ Jul 6 Summer is a good time to lighten up more than just meals in the kitchen. Declutter some kitchen items you no longer need or want.

____ Jul 7 National Strawberry Sundae Day. Get some fresh berries from the farmer's market.

____ Jul 8 It's hot outside. Take care of indoor tasks this month. For example, declutter your bookshelves.

____ Jul 9 Decluttering your pantry is another good indoor task. Get rid of anything expired, and move older items nearer to the front so they get used up first.

____ Jul 10 Get rid of worn linens. Animal shelters are often glad for extra towels!

____ Jul 11 Schedule any checkups or dental appointments before school starts again.

____ Jul 12 It's a good time to use the crockpot in the summer...it keeps the kitchen cooler than the oven.

____ Jul 13 Embrace Your Geekness Day. Declutter your computer files.

____ Jul 14 When did you last clean out your purse? If it has been awhile, todayís the perfect day to do so.

____ Jul 15 If the garden needs weeding or the lawn needs mowing, do it early, before the day gets hot. Remember sunscreen.

____ Jul 16 If the thought of the gym makes you sweat, look for a water exercise class for staying cool and fit.

____ Jul 17 Plan a garage sale. Encourage your kids to clean out toys they no longer care about.

____ Jul 18 Plan some mini Ďstaycationsí and learn about the area in which you live.

____ Jul 19 Think a little about school supplies for the coming year. Begin to buy them little by little.

____ Jul 24 Take some time to prop up your feet and read or scrapbook. Why should kids have all the summer fun?

____ Jul 25 If you have bird baths, be sure they are clean and stocked with water for the birds.

____ Jul 26 Itís my birthday! Help me get a few Reader Tips editions of my newsletter done! Email me your favorite organizing tips: getorgnow@charter.net
