_done__ Prepare for Valentine's Day. If you have not done so already, set out a few Valentine decorations this week. Bake heart-shaped sugar cookies and freeze to decorate at a later time. Gather supplies you may need for making Valentine cards. Here is a simple Valentine card craft. Paste heart- shaped doilies onto pre-cut cards. Fold and include a heart- felt message inside. Maybe you would like to include a gift card too?

_done__ Organize your winter footwear. Now is a good time to take inventory of winter shoes and boots. Donate any winter footwear that has not been worn. If needed, clean any boots with a brush over newspaper. Designate a mat for everyone to leave their boots at the door.

__done_ Clean your oven. Use a commercial cleaner if your oven is not self-cleaning. After your oven has cooled, wipe the inside with a damp cloth. Be sure to wipe clean the outside oven door, handle and knobs by using hot soapy water and then dry with a towel.

1) Clean Out Your Automatic Coffee Maker Wash out your filter basket, coffee pot, and lid in warm, soapy water. Run white vinegar through your coffee maker (check to see if it has instructions for a self-cleaning routine). Run 2 pots of clean water through the coffee maker to ensure that there is no vinegar taste left.

2) Weed out your purse or wallet Toss out any garbage, old and unwanted receipts, and paperwork. Purses tend to get heavy quickly so try to streamline items being put back. Assess whether or not each item truly needs to be toted around all the time.

3) Go through old medications For medication that is expired or no longer useful to you, return to a nearby pharmacy for safe disposal. Never toss medications in the garbage or flush them down the toilet. Be sure your medications are in a secure location that cannot be accessed by children or pets.

4) Sharpen pencils Sharpen any dull pencils you have laying around.

5) Donate one or two books We all have a book or two we’ll never read again. Donate a couple so someone else can enjoy them AND so you can free up some space
