I love paying online. I can pay, specifying a future date. It's done and I can forget about it. I'm careful to not do this on public wifi, only a secured connection. No stamps necessary and no checks in the mail for theft.

I agree, I don't pay online myself. However, you can set up bill pay thru your bank.

___ Get everything you need together to file your taxes before April 15th. Doing so now will ensure you're not rushing to meet the April deadline. Schedule a date to begin working on your taxes or make an appointment with your accountant.

___ Designate a place to pay your bills that includes everything you need to do so. If you're still paying most of your bills by hand, your checkbook, pens, calculator, return address labels, and postage stamps should all be together and easily accessible. If you're not paying bills online, consider starting small with just one of your bills and work your way up from there. Once you're set up to pay your bills online, it can save tons of time and postage.

___ Clean something you haven't cleaned in awhile. Some ideas include dusting the top of your refrigerator, vacuuming all the dust that has accumulated on your computer cords, or bringing a musty, bulky comforter to the local laundromat for a wash/dry cycle.

___1-2-3 Instead of trying to plan a 21-day meal plan, or even a 7-day meal plan (overwhelming!), start by planning just 3 days at a time. Come up with three simple meals you plan to prepare, and go grocery shopping for any ingredients you need. Once youíve mastered this, you can increase your meal-plan days.

___Post them Post the meals you plan to make on your refrigerator, including any side dishes or dessert. Estimate the time itís going to take to prepare those meals and jot that down next to the name of the meal. Depending on your schedule each evening, choose one of the three meals and make it.

___Only one new If you choose to include NEW recipes in your 3-day meal plan that youíve never made before, itís recommended to only do that for ONE day of your meal planning, since making anything new usually requires more time and focus. On the other two days, make something tried and true that you can do very quickly.
