You are a child of the universe, no less than the trees and the stars you have a right to be here. And whether or not it is clear to you, no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should! - Desiderata

1) Equip your car Be sure you have a snow brush (or two), a shovel, an ice scraper, and an extra pair of gloves in your car. Itís not fun to have to swipe snow off your car with your jacket sleeve because of lack of preparation.

2) Know where outer wear is going to go Consider putting a boot tray by your entry doors. In doing so, boots can be removed and immediately placed on the tray...protecting the floor from getting wet. I also leave a portable drying rack in the utility room for wet coats...and especially for all the wet outerwear my daughter and her friends drag in after building a snowman!

3) A tissue packet in every pocket Along with winter comes those pesky winter colds. Place a tissue packet in every family memberís coat pockets, and theyíll be handy when needed. Either purchase those in their own packets, or place a bunch in a small Ziploc bag. Check if replacements are needed weekly...or daily if someone begins sneezing.

Not by might, nor by power, but by My Spirit says the Lord of hosts. Zechariah 4:6 NKJV
