1) Clean the front of the fridge Remove any magnets or papers that are displayed on the front or top of the refrigerator. Clean with a clean cloth and a mild liquid detergent. Always wipe in the direction of the grain. Limit the amount of papers you display on the refrigerator. I usually stick to one piece of my daughter’s artwork, emergency phone numbers, medical information, and the school’s weekly lunch menu.

2) Organize your glove compartment Take everything out of your glove compartment. If there is loose dirt, wash it out with a damp sponge. When the compartment is clean, replace the items. Reduce clutter by replacing only the things you need or use. Mine includes a folder with my insurance and emergency/medical information, my vehicle’s manual, a local map, pen and paper, a flashlight, tissues/napkins in a zipped baggie, a few small, plastic trash bags, and a couple of wrapped granola bars...just in case.

3) Weed out your clothes closet Pick out 5 to 10 items you haven’t worn in ages. Put them in a bag. Bring them to your local charity. Someone in need will make good use of them www.getorganizednow.com/organizing-c
