Who hasn’t said, ‘I wish I had more time to_______’? We all want more hours in our day. That’s why this week’s mini-challenges focus on ‘How to Gain More Time in Your Day’.

1) Establish tomorrow’s priorities Before going to bed tonight, establish your priorities for tomorrow. This will save you time having to think about what you should be doing in the morning and you’ll be able to begin immediately.

2) Get up earlier Go to bed earlier tonight, and try to get up earlier in the morning...even 30 minutes makes a huge difference. The extra time you gain in the morning could be highly productive for you…plus, you won’t feel as rushed.

3) Watch an hour less a day of TV daily The average American watches about 35 hours of television a week…35 hours is A LOT of time! Even if you only watch two hours, that still adds up. Experiment today with limiting your television time…I guarantee you’ll be more productive AND you’ll be better able to focus on your family.

4) Leave your email for later Don’t read your email the minute you wake up or the second you get to work. Instead get yourself dialed in to accomplishing a priority task. Save email for after you’ve accomplished your first priority task of the day.

5) Put your things away Items that you use every day need to have a special place. Keys, purses, wallets, briefcase, smartphones, ear buds, medications, etc. need a ‘home’ so you don’t waste time looking for them. www.getorganizednow.com/organizing-c
