How is your indoor spring cleaning coming along? Here are 5 NEW mini indoor spring cleaning challenges to help you get your house as fresh as the new season...without taking up tons of time.

1) Light Fixtures Depending on the material, light fixtures can be vacuumed with an upholstery brush, washed in the dishwasher or cleaned with a glass cleaner. If using the dishwasher, place light fixtures on the top rack and leave plenty of space between each fixture. Do not place antique, painted or enameled fixtures in the dishwasher.

2) Ceiling Fans and Vent Covers Forego the ladder and use an extendable duster to reach ceiling fans. Then, remove vent covers and grill fans and place them in the dishwasher. It’s a fast and super easy method.

3) The Coat Closet Now is the time to change out winter gear for spring and summer outdoor wear. Match and store mittens, gloves, hats, and eliminate unmatched items. Next, make a list replacement items you may need for next winter.

4) Air Conditioner This has happened to us…the hottest day of summer arrives and our A/C doesn’t work. Don’t let this happen to you…schedule a maintenance appointment today.

5) Smoke and Carbon Monoxide Detectors Replace the batteries in your smoke and carbon monoxide detectors, and make sure to give them a test run.
