Great suggestions, thanks! I am going to work my way down from #1. I used to do well at planning meals but I have been faltering.

I wish emails took only 10 min a day. Work emails have taken up to 2hours as I've had many issues with spam. I think the tech finally got it sorted out, as it's down to only 10 min, however, I haven't sorted, cleaned or saved the necessary emails - just archived them for later. That'll take probably a couple hours. Home emails are worse, I don't have time daily and they add up. There are many days I crave real mail because I never get behind there - even in the days when I wrote and received several letters daily. Laundry is simple for me, being on my own. Dinner is also simple and calendars, well, home is pretty basic. Where I need to focus is on dishes and tidying up, which would be more than 10 min - figure 30 min and it's done. That's what I'll be focusing on. :)

Many of these would take more than 10 minutes for me as well. So I plan on just spending 10 minutes doing the best I can with them. Even if I don't get them completed.

Letís focus on short, organizing projects that you can accomplish in 10 minutes or less. Who knows? After those 10 minutes are up, maybe youíll be motivated to organize for another 10!

1) Make a dinner plan for the week One of the busiest times of the day is dinnertime. It gets even more hectic when you donít have a plan in place, youíre running behind schedule, or you find yourself making an extra trip to the grocery store for a forgotten ingredient. The easiest way to avoid the chaosÖtake 10 minutes and plan all the evening meals for the work week.

2) Sort through your mail The key to keeping away the paper piles.sort your mail every day. Mail can be sorted into three categories: documents that need action (bills), paperwork that needs to be filed, and trash.

3) Fold and put away one load of laundry Fold and put away ONE load of laundry today. It may not solve all your laundry woes, but youíll certainly be tackling the laundry mountain.

4) Update your calendar Today, update your work and personal calendars. By planning ahead, youíll know whatís coming up this week, this month, and in the next three months. Being aware of events and deadlines is much, much better than being surprised!

5) Delete your email Spend 10 minutes today deleting as many email messages as you can from your email inbox. www.getorganizednow.com/organizing-c
