Great ideas! We are starting to do the wrapping tonight! I already washed the Christmas dishes and I think we are all ready to think about the shopping list.

Go through paperwork - Tie up lose ends - stop waiting patiently for things to resolve themselves -and constantly checking the mailbox- Just going to call -- -- patience sometimes is not a virtue - Will not wait so long net year -

With all the hustle and bustle of the holiday season, being organized is more necessary than ever! This week’s mini- challenges will help ensure nothing is left forgotten.

1) Make an out-of-town gift list Make a list of gifts that need to be shipped. To ensure they arrive by Christmas AND to ensure you’re not paying enormous overnight shipping fees, the USPS recommends mailing domestic items no later than December 14, and international items even earlier!

2) Wrap as you go Speaking of gifts, don't leave wrapping until the final moment. Wrap your gifts as you buy them, this will save you tons of time in the long run. Be sure to label them with To/From tags or mark the name of the wrapped item on the bottom of the package in pencil.

3) Finalize holiday plans Do you know where you're spending the holidays? Are you hosting, or are you a guest? Will there be several parties to attend or only one? Do you need to bring gifts, a side dish, or any other items? Write everything down and be sure to keep your family in the loop for holiday fun.

4) Pull out the linens and dinnerware...early Don’t wait until the last minute to discover the silverware needs to be polished, or the linens you have are stained or need ironing. Gather everything you need for your holiday dinner now and inspect it. If anything needs to be prepped, or repaired, or replaced, you can do so now...before the big day.

5) Make a gift map Don’t be left wondering where you hid a gift. Try hiding gifts all in one place, but if you must scatter them, be sure you keep a gift map telling you the name of the gift and exactly where it’s located in your house. Keep this list on your computer (password protected) or in a locked box

Not by might, nor by power, but by My Spirit says the Lord of hosts. Zechariah 4:6 NKJV
