The pedometer I bought also counts calories and all movements. It said I walked 5 miles today. I was on my feet, walking around the classroom and tried to walk to the office, the farthest room from there and anything else I could do to move. Anyways, I have around 102 left.

I walked about 3 miles today; have 107 to go. I bought a new pedometer, if it will stay where I put it. I hope I don't have to get another one. But, I will if needed.

I, on the other hand, have started a new job so I am trying to get the swing of the routine! And my thyroid levels are low, so I am not feeling so motivated. I will keep trying though!

I had forgotten to state my route. I'm walking from Tyler, TX to Nacogdoches, TX where I went to college. It's 75 miles one way, but I have to walk home again.So my trip will be 150 miles.
I started with the pedometer this past week:
Tuesday=5 miles
Wednesday=3.5
Thursday=5.5
Friday=4.5
Total this past week=18 miles
132 miles to go
Only going to keep track on the weekdays.

Starts September 1st

Welcome to the September Challenge Part 1! I named this Just Keep Walking because walking is very important to do with our exercise!

We are going to focus on how many miles we can walk! Here's how:

I want everyone to:

1. Pick a city close to where you live
2. Go to google maps and find out how many miles there are from your house to the city you picked
3. Tell us in your post where you live(city and state) and where you will be walking to(city and state)
4. Get walking! Count the miles you walk and subtract them each time you walk from your total miles to walk!
5. Always record your miles here daily, even if you have 0 for the day.

*You can use a treadmill, pedometers, DVDs that count miles(ex. Walk Away the Pounds), etc.

*This can be however many miles you want it to be! Just be realistic, because you only have September to get the miles done; But make it a challenge too!
