🍞Cheddar Biscuits🍞
(Always calculate your own ingredients and points)
My batch made 24 biscuits at 3pts each

Ingredients:
-3 cups Bisquick mix
-1 cup shredded reduced fat cheddar cheese
-1/2 cup shredded parmesan
-1 cup unsweetened almond milk
-1 tsp garlic powder
-3 tbsp butter, melted
-3 tsp dried parsley (5 tsp fresh parsley)
-1.5 tsp Mrs. Dash salt free seasoning mix

Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 400* and line a large cookie sheet with parchment paper.

2. In a large bowl, combine Bisquick, cheeses, and garlic powder. Stir in almond milk. Drop batter by heaping tablespoonfuls onto prepared cookie sheet.

3. Bake for 10 minutes. Brush biscuits with melted butter, sprinkle with parsley and Mrs Dash seasoning. Bake for 3-5 more minutes or until lightly browned on the bottom.

That's awesome girl! Woo Hoo! The pedometer is extremely motivating. You can get them pretty low priced at Walmart or other similar stores. They also have more high tech ones like the Fitbit, which a lot of walkers like. I checked that out online. Would love to get one of those someday, but for now I love my reliable old one I have had. It is totally attached to my hip! Woo Hoo! It is like a good friend keeping me accountable everyday. hee hee Woo Hoo! We can do it! emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon

Made it past 8000 steps last night! Woo Hoo! I did the 15 minute walk a few times over just by watching a movie! We can do it! emoticon emoticon emoticon

WOW! I really have to get a pedometer. I track the steps for my exercise, but not the rest of the walking I do on campus and such. Hmmmmm... 10,000 steps sounds very calorie-burning!!!! Great challenge, I'm on it! emoticon

Thank you my friend! We can do it! Woo Hoo! I have done it twice today and am loving it! woo hoo! It really adds up the minutes! I have over 7000 steps, so far. My goal for this week will be 10,000 steps per day. We can do it!! Let's rock! emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon

OK, this sounds good! I've been chiding myself lately for the time wasted in front of the TV or on the computer when I could actually be doing something productive, especially on days when I haven't planned a workout. This is nice!

New Challenge is to post a favorite recipe. emoticon









Old Challenge: Your challenge is to choose time you would normally be sedentary...watching tv, computer time, reading etc. Replace some of it with a 15 min mile. This is not to replace any activity you already get. This is to add to it, getting up and moving. Woo Hoo! We can do it!

2 mins- march in place

3 mins - sidestep

1 min- march in place

3 min knee lift

1 min march in place

3 min kick

2 min March in place
