Back on track with exercise and nutrition tracking today. Should begin to see progress again by next week. I had gained 1lb in the last fortnight due to lack of energetic exercise while my visitors were here.

19th August - our 3 boys arrived and the two Grandchildren. It's 2nd son's 31st birthday. I'd borrowed my brother's car - a ford mondeo - which is bigger than my little micra while our German guests were here and thank goodness no problems while I was running them around, particularly today when I took them back to the airport. However, I went to pick up youngest son Will from the coach and the clutch went. Great! Fortunately Phil was there and he took the bus home and phoned for the break down service who then refused to come out without charge because they said I wasn't covered in another car. It was another 3 hours before I managed to get home and then my brother took me with him to pick up the car. He had trouble too, but is more experienced with it and managed to drive it home. I just couldn't get it into gear at all and that was scarey.

August 14th - day at the seaside and although it was grey and windy I enjoyed a swim. We travelled back via Painswick, which is a lovely little Cotswold town with just one mainstreet and a lot of little narrow, windy streets with Cotswold stone houses and cottages.

I know I haven't been on here that much this week, but I have been making my goals freggie goals this week :0)

August 12

Blueberries and Strawberries, Onions and tomatoes, Pear, Mushrooms (Do they count as 1 of my 5 a day) Orange juice (Thats about 5, maybe 6 if the mushrooms count!!!)

I always manage my water :0)

Manic yesterday so didn't find time to post but I did my 5 freggies, drank my 4 pints and walked my 2 miles. Did 3 hours clearing up, moving furniture and making beds ready for nephew and 2 daughters who arrived late afternoon. emoticon

Although my weekend was busy and food wise wasn't great, I still managed to get in my 5 veg and 8 glasses of water all weekend.

I will post more in-depth records this week.

Today I've already eaten:
Fruit Salad - Counts as two portions
Dried Fruit - 1 Portion

I plan to also eat
Mixed Salad - 1 portion
Mixed Veg - counting as 2 portions

That actually makes 6 portions today :0)
