The Ezekiel 4:9 cereal is made by Food for Life ... great stuff! You should be able to get it at a health food store, or in the natural foods dept. of a big supermarket. I usually pay around $6.00 a box when it's on sale, which ain't cheap! But it's great stuff ... and the other Food for Life product I love is Genesis 1:29 English muffins (better than the Ezekiel muffins). You can check their web site here: www.foodforlife.com/product/cereals/

I liked the Chex boxes when I was young. The backs were like a newspaper page and were interesting. I like that better than the sugary stuff that had the prizes inside because with 3 kids in the family it seemed like I never got the prize. We used to get the puffed rice and wheat also. Both were very Styrofoam like. I've never even seen Ezekiel 4:9 cereal...interesting.

Oh, I never actually *ate* Fruit Loops, I WAS a fruit loop! I guess so, anyway, because I never liked sugary or sugared cereals when I was a kid. My favorite was either Quaker puffed rice (the white stuff that's kinda like styrofoam!), or plain shredded wheat! I always have liked sugar in a more "straight-up" form, like candy bars! Now I eat Ezekiel 4:9 sprouted whole grain cereal with loads of sliced almonds, blueberries, blackberries and raspberries. (More than you wanted to know, for sure!)

Good one, Bev.
I must be weird. My favorite cereal was Rice Chex when I was young.

Unfortunately that sugary cereal is in the homes of many young children.

Very cute video, Paula! It does go beyond funny, though. I wonder what percentage of people still do eat that garbage? I'm sure the so-called "children's" programming on TV is loaded to the gills with ads for it, so the little punkins demand it. But I suspect consumption has declined considerably in the last 10 years or so ... or am I out of the Fruit Loop?

Thank you, Popeye. I've changed the link to the original place I got it. It is a bit more scrolling down the page, but the story is there.

Maybe I'm just not awake yet, but when I clicked the link it took me to a place with the title, then a cartoon advertisement started fir a "animated" movie coming in June, 2014. It then went to a start of something else and ended immediately.
