Very cute video, Paula ... ended my day with a smile, too! We have loads of animals here that we feed, too: 3 skunks (one all white!, one all black!, & one regular Pepe LePew), possums, 2 foxes, 22 bird species, and in particular, a hen turkey who used to come and stand tall enough to peer through our living room window asking for food! We haven't seen her since the snow hit but we have 3 crows who come and stare at the window till we throw bread out for them. Between bird seed, corn, fruit (for certain summer birds) and bread, we get a zoo out there sometimes ... fun to watch! Thanks for sharing the video!

That short clip ended my day with a smile! I can remember a mother squirrel that lived in our back yard tree, sitting on a railing outside our kitchen, trying to get our attention. At that time we put out sunflower seeds out for the squirrels. We had neglected to do that. She ran from her empty tray to our railing. Got our attention and then ran out to her empty tray! She knew where the seeds came from. Our boys were sure excited about her communication efforts.

I don't know if most of you have actually looked at my page, but almost 6 years ago in March my husband and I were blessed to find a poor little 10 day old baby squirrel that was actually cold and blue and not breathing. My husband revived her and from there we have taken in 17 babies. All have been released but our first little "Lucky" who is not releasable because she cannot see well and has never been able to learn to jump. She is really a part of our family now. Of course this is not a video of her, but it certainly makes me laugh and think of the many we have raised and released. A number of those had a habit of returning and eating off of our porch coming daily for their treats.
